Shear Bliss at the farm

Shear Bliss is the process and the product at Four Winds Farm--my fiber arts business. Following a dream of living in the mountains, cultivating a more intimate relationship with the earth, and pursuing the whole process of the ancient art of spinning, we brought Jacob sheep to Indian Valley in 2006 and began Four Winds Farm. Our sheep are fed on organic pasture and local hay, drink water from our own spring, and enjoy the same gorgeous views of the mountains and valley that we do. They are well-loved. In return, they gift us their unusual and soft fleeces, which Lorraine cleans, cards, and spins into yarns of natural color or earth hues dyes.
